I have found a wonderful web 2.0 tool for people who are into weather. In my social studies class, I can use this tool to explore real-time weather conditions of places that we are studying. The site uses individual people's webcams as well as local tv stations' forecasts. It actually gives satellite images, radar and up to date conditions on the ground. This is a wonderful way to really bring home the lessons of geography, science and social studies. Another way that technology can transform education!
